Dream Events is thrilled to be selected as the vendor to create the family fun zone at the 2023 Town of Hempstead Car Show. Hempstead Town Supervisor Don Clavin and the Town Board are hosting the 2023 Town of Hempstead Car Show at Town Park, Point Lookout on Sunday, October 1st from 10 am – 4 pm. Dream Events is honored to have been selected as the vendor to host the family fun zone. We will be at the event with all the best inflatables and mechanical rides for the kids.
This event is the perfect mix of one of the best car shows around, and a family fun festival, it truly has something for everyone. The best part is, it’s free for spectators and has plenty of free parking. It features:
- Live music featuring The Mystic & Rockabilly
- Family Fun Zone & Touch a Truck
- Adopt a pet TOH animal shelter
- World Famous “George Barris’” Movie Cars featuring the original Batmobile and Munster mobile
- Vendors of all kinds
- Competitively Judged Cars, Trucks & Motorcycles
- Food trucks, food vendors, and a beer garden
- Motortrend’s “Iron Resurrections” stars Joe and Amanda Martin unveiling their latest creation

Town of Hempstead To Host The Grand Finale Car Show 10/1
The Town of Hempstead is excited to host what will be the largest car show in the Northeast. On October 1st, 2023 the Town of Hempstead will host The 2023 Grand Finale at Town Park Point Lookout, located at 1300 Lido Blvd, Point Lookout, NY. The competitively judged show will boast some of Long Island’s best cars, trucks, and motorcycles. All makes and models will be included in this grand competition. Showcase your car alongside some of Long Island’s finest rides by entering the competition. The show is from 10 am – 4 pm, gates will open at 7 am.

All makes and models are welcome. Sign up in advance of the event and get our pre-registration price of $25, or sign up the day of and pay $30 at the gate. Ready to enter the competition? You can sign up here.
The show doesn’t stop there. You’ll want to check out some of the infamous movie cars like The Bat Mobile and Monkeys cars at the show. Bring the kids and take photos with some of the most notorious movie cars.
Unveiling the ‘65 Rivi
Join Martin Bros. Customs of Johnson City, Texas. (Yes, the same Martin Bros. of the Motor Trend TV Show Iron Resurrection), as they unveil Butch Yamali’s ‘65 Rivi. Owned by Yamali’s father, Hurricane Sandy put this classic gem underwater. Martin and his team completely updated the car to today’s modern performance and handling standards. The crew pulled out the original X-frame replacing it with a new Roadster Shop Fast Track Chassis fitted with Baer Brakes, a 9-inch rearend, and everything to make the Rivi handle better than new. Entertainment For All
This car show is equipped with entertainment for everyone. Check out our kid’s zone with inflatables, mechanical rides, and more. Touch a Truck will have over 15 vehicles in a variety of sizes, where your little ones can see what it’s like to take the driver’s seat in all their favorite trucks. Live music throughout the event, featuring Hocus Pocus, who will be playing all your favorite Doo Wop hits, The Backseat Devils, playing your favorite Johnny Cash and Rockabilly favorites, and one more surprise band!
Town of Hempstead Adopt a Pet
The Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter will be at the event with some of their furry friends who are looking for a new home. Stop by and show our furry friends some love and maybe even take one home.
Vendors, Food and Beverages
Take a stroll through some of Long Island’s favorite vendors who will be showcasing a variety of products and services. This event is expected to attract over 15,000 guests, if you want to be a vendor at the event, you can sign up here.
